Non-Exclusive Member Rental (NEMR)
AKA "Community Parties"
We are trying an experiment at the club. In an effort to spur member participation and use of the club house facilities we have decided to let members reserve and use the club house at no cost.
Yes, that’s right, FREE. OK, we know what you’re thinking, there is a catch right. No, there is no catch. There are some guidelines though which we will explain in a moment but first we have to say, this is an experiment and it is going to be reviewed in a year to see if it should be continued so your participation and following the guidelines is critical to see this continue.
Now for the guidelines: this new program is for Non-Exclusive Member Rental (NEMR) of the club house only.
What does that mean?
Members can reserve the clubhouse for events that are non-exclusive. That is to say, open to the entire membership. Any member that wants to show up and participate can do so.
This is for a dance, movies, card games, drama class, photographers meet and greet, musicians meet and jam, etc… As long as the door is open to all members and each member can bring up to three guests there is a good chance it can happen at your club house. Please bear in mind that just like having guests enjoy beach access, they can’t park on site.
This is not for birthday parties, club meetings, weddings, funerals, anniversaries, or other exclusive events including fundraising for any cause. We have paid rentals at reduced and very competitive rates available to members for such events.

Each membership household can sponsor up to one event per month between 9am and ending no later than 9pm with the exclusion of Sundays and Mondays. Members can  sign up for 1-4 hour blocks of time through the website for non-exclusive functions. We have modified our website to provide a NEMR request form that is easy to find and making the calendar a more prominent feature. As events occur, please provide feedback so the program can be adequately reviewed after this trial period of one year. Forms will be available on the website.
Requests will be reviewed on a weekly basis and a response sent by email notifying the member if the proposed event qualifies under the NEMR program and if the date requested is available. Approved events will be posted on the website calendar with an appropriate description to include member sponsor name and event type (i.e. Joanna Smith, book club meeting, 2-4pm Tuesday the 22nd). If a requested calendar date is already booked with a paid rental event, the paid rental will take priority. NEMR events will be posted on the website and possibly advertised by email or newsletter to the membership. Requests should be made between 2 and 8 weeks in advance. The requesting member must remain on site for the duration of the event and ensure that the premises are left in clean and proper condition at the end of an event. So that is it for the restrictions.
We may have left out a few details so feel free to inquire. Now let’s get planning and use the club house for some great community events.

1.  Check the Calendar

2.  Request a NEMR date

3.  Provide NEMR feedback
